Elisabeth
Behind the Harmony Music and artist name Elisabeth is composer and producer Heidi Toivonen from Finland. She is composing emotional and powerful cinematic music. Heidi´s strenghts are her ability to build beautiful harmonies and memorable melodies.
Heidi has a long roots in music from childhood. At the age of five she started to play Kantele which is an old traditional finnish instrument. When Heidi was nine year old she started to play classical violin in a local Music Institute. Ten years later she graduated and continued playing violin in different bands and projects.
Heidi studied music more in Tampere University of Applied Sciences and graduated in 2016. While doing everything else than music for years, the idea of composing did not leave she alone and Heidi started to composing music by her own. Her first release Shadows Behind The Light was a long journey to find her inner self and after many challenges the musical journey finally allowed to start.
Heidi released her first album in 2023 and she is now making her second album. The exact publication time will be announced later.
